Property: It is colorless shinning crystal or white powder, specific wt.: 2.25, m.p.: 993°C, b.p.: 1695°C. It is soluble in water,hydrofluoric acid; slightly soluble in alcohols. Its aqueous solution is weak alkaline; corrosive to glass; toxic!
Use: It is used as phosphating accelerant to improve the performance of phosphating film. It is also used for wood preservatives, insecticides, bactericides, soldering flux etc.
